I have this picture from last March on my computer background right now, as a reminder that there are warm places on earth. They are not located in MN, but they really are out there! Plus, I like to look at my good looking boys! :)Today was another day at home. Too cold for the kiddies to head to school. I did venture out to go to Perkin's with some friends, and to Target to get a few things, but other than that, I am curled up with my knitting or my book. I may be obsessing, because my newest book is a novel called The Friday Night Knitting Club. Perhaps I have a problem...

Do you have any recommendations on a good "how to learn" knitting book? Ooo, and let me know how your novel is too, I've eying it every time I'm at Target.

I have seen a how-to book with great pics, but I don't know the name. I will see if I can find it out. The novel is good so far, I am about half way through. Don't worry, more about the people than the knitting. :) And, I will get a hat out to you soon. Auntie Balou's is in the works first!
I have a knitting book and attempted to "cast on" for about an hour using it as a guide. Then I went to http://www.learntoknit.com/instructions_kn.php3 and am in the process of knitting. Fun!
