Well, I think that's officially the longest time I've gone without posting since I started this thing! Sorry if you've been out there waiting for updates on the Pendill family. Last week wasn't too exciting, so there wasn't much to share.
But, starting on Thursday, we picked it up a bit. That was the day I got in my first real accident. I say real, because I distinctly recall having to help my Dad put the mailbox back where it belonged when I first learned that if you are slipping on the ice, you should not still try to turn into the driveway. It's okay to slide by, and then back up and turn. :) This time I got rear-ended, so it wasn't my fault! It wasn't very hard, and there was no damage to me and very little to the vehicle. But, I am amazed at the cost of a new bumper and hitch!
On Friday Tyler came over and we had a low key evening, because we had a 3 game weekend. Last year we had some weekends where we would have an away game on Saturday and another on Sunday, so you would have to drive both days. This year they are trying something different, with two away games on the same day. So, Saturday the boys played a 2 o'clock game in Monticello, and a 6:30 game in Sartell, which is on the way home. They tied the first one, and won the second. Then, Sunday, they played a home game, and won that one too! It was a good and busy weekend.
Shortly after that Sunday game Chad headed into the cities for the MN Propane convention. He caught a ride with another Willmar guy so we could have just the one car when I joined him later in the week. I worked Monday, and then took Tuesday and Wednesday off. Monday I headed in for the big dinner at the convention and then Tuesday night we went with some customers to the Wild game.
We had a blast at the game last night! A fun bunch of guys, and a 6-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. That one goal scored by Toronto came from Jason Blake, who is from Moorhead, MN. Chad has golfed with him in fact, and he was kind enough to send Ty an autographed picture, so it was an okay goal.
Well, if you've read this far, then I am proud of you! :) Hopefully I will start getting better about taking pictures again. I have gotten lazy with that, and I know it makes posts a little more exciting. Wishing you all uneventful weeks, and special thoughts go out to my Uncle John and Cousin Rose as they start searching for new jobs.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Although looking at the ice on the roads, sometimes I find it amazing that I get home without banging into one thing or another.
Love the man mittens!
LOL at my word verification: WELLO. I think I'll answer the phone with that one today.
