I've heard it is nice out today...

I got an e-mail from my mom today that said, isn't it nice out today? I wish I knew! I moved to a new classroom this year, and I got some good things out of it (bigger, actually being near the other math teachers), but one thing that I gave up was a window. Some days it's good not to have a window. The first time it snows for example. That way you don't have students wondering if we will get out early for 1/4 of an inch. But today, it would have been nice to see the sunshine! So, I finally did get outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, and when I got home I found a wonderful surprise. The farmer who farms the field behind our house decided to spread manure today. I guess I won't sit out on the deck and read a book! Hopefully you all got a chance to enjoy some warm fall weather today too.
