When babies nap, mommies blog...

...or knit, or take a shower, or get the dishes done, or anything they can't do while watching a baby like a hawk so he doesn't climb something, or conk his head on something, or pinch his fingers in something.

Actually, this is sort of an inconvenient time for a nap, because Ty's hockey game starts in 18 minutes. Oh well. Connor has been out for about 20, so I'll let him sleep for another 15 or 20 and get him up to go to the game. We might be a little late to Ty's game.

This has been an eventful/uneventful week for us. I got a call from daycare on Monday that Connor had a fever of 102.5, so I left work at lunch time and took him to the dr. No magic fix. As long as he was eating, then just give him medicine to keep the fever down. So Tuesday and Wednesday go by, and we still have a fever. Parent/teacher conferences were this week, so since I missed Tuesday I definitely needed to go on Thursday night. So it was Connor and Daddy day on Thursday. I think they had fun together. Working from 7 am to 8 pm gets to be a long day, and I'm sure it was a long day at home too. But, Daddy was the magical cure and no fever for most of the day on Thursday. Finally! Back to daycare and work for everyone on Friday.

This weekend Willmar hosts the first round of A Bantam playoffs for our district, and we are hoping that Willmar comes out with some wins and heads to regions! Ty and the boys would love it! So, I should go pack up the diaper bag, sneak the boy into his snowsuit without waking him up and head to the rink. Ha!
