A lovely weekend!

Chad took me away for a date weekend, and I'm glad that he did! Amid all the day to day tasks that always seem to need doing, I sometimes forget how nice it is to get away and just relax. To be forced to chill out is a great thing. (The internet at our hotel on Saturday night cost $9.95, so we opted out on that one!)

We saw the Wild lose on Friday night, but enjoyed time with friends, and on Saturday we had some fabulous shopping time, without all of the trappings that a small child requires when one goes to the mall. That was followed by an awesome dinner out with my friend Erin, and we definitely didn't watch our calories! Yum yum! (p.s. I love my hubby!)

Connor got to spend some quality time with Grandma Bev, Grandpa Jeff, and Uncle Phil. I think they enjoyed themselves, and I know he kept them all busy playing, and washing clothes. ;) I definitely missed my little man and was glad to cuddle him during Ty's hockey game on Sunday. It worked out perfectly to stop in Paynesville to watch him on our way home. Plus, they won, which makes it more fun!

Today was back to reality. I have spent some time calling parents tonight because their little angels were naughty for the sub. Gotta love it!
