2011

Happy New Year everyone! I hope that you had a fantastic celebration... or a low key evening, like we did. One of my goals this year is to actually pay attention to my blog. I love reading the blogs of others, but somehow when it comes to posting something here, I think that it will be boring, and people will not want to waste their time reading it. But, I will try and get a few posts up now and then, and whether you find them interesting or not will be up to you!

So, here are the things we have been up to since 2011 began:

• Watching the snow blow around our yard. We didn't go to the Raasch family Christmas (my mom's side) on the 1st because of a bit of a blizzard. I wish we could have seen everyone though, and of course my little red-head has yet to meet some of his extended family.
• Back to school on the 3rd for me! I can't believe how short Christmas break was this year, and I will tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed spending the week at home. But, I was ready to get back into my routine on Monday.
• This past weekend was Ty's hockey tournament. They won both games on Saturday, but lost on Sunday and ended up in second place. Ty is really enjoyable to watch and I can't believe that he will be playing on the high school team next year. I know that I've only been watching him play for 4 years, but what a change in those 4 years!
• This is the week of Grandmas. Connor got to stay home today with his Grandma Colleen who is here for another visit, and on Friday he will spend the day with his Grandma Bev while Chad and I go on a date night to the Wild game. Let's hope they win this time!
