This is a picture of the blanket that we put together at our school's knitting club. Three other teachers and I put together a grant to start this club, and the kids just have to make 7" by 9" rectangles, of any color or pattern, and we put them together to make the blanket. This is our first one, and the second one is coming along pretty well. We are going to show this one off at parent/teacher conferences next week, but then it is going to be donated to a local charity. We are thinking the local women's shelter, but the kids get to decide. Just wanted to share!

Although you'll never catch me knitting, I still think that is a really cool idea.
