I thought I would post a couple of pictures from last Sunday. We got 3 pheasants, Chad shot them all, and no he didn't make me say that. One that he winged ran into the corn and we couldn't find him, so we ended up taking two home. In one of the pictures you can see a combine. They were finally getting a chance to harvest the corn across the road, but we were still surrounded by it, so I think 3 birds was a pretty good day. It was gorgeous weather, I have a couple of scratches on my arms because Ty and I were just wearing t-shirts under our hunting vests!

A fun weekend of hunting...is deer hunting in Chad's blood too? I know that started around Brainerd, as I heard it from my parents.
The weather must have been perfect to be wearing short sleeves to get this battle wounds!!:)
I loved your pics of the early morning snow too. What a site, and it looks like a good amount too. Didn't have to break out the snow plows yet.
I recognize that grove of trees in the background. Was a gorgeous weekend to be outside.
Have the trees gotten taller since the last time you were there balou? I was too young when I lived there to remember what the trees looked like!
