I get today and tomorrow off!
Big Daddy is working today, but he took tomorrow off too.
Little Man is sleeping, and has been for over two hours.
We had lunch with a friend at McDonald's. Connor was in a great mood while we were there, and he enjoyed his nuggets. He also snuck a drink of my pop when I wasn't looking. Apparently he made a nasty face. Good, let's go with that. Pop is nasty, right?
The sweater I'm knitting isn't going as quickly as I'd like. I'm having to take things out occasionally, and I'm having to adjust the pattern to fit me correctly. Luckily it's knit from the top down, so I can try it on as I go. There's an awesome cable pattern on the back. Dang, I hope it turns out.
I have one sweater that I made that I actually wear.
There are three sweaters sitting in my closet gathering dust.
One of them looked great when I was pregnant, but no so much when I'm not.
We're headed to my old stomping grounds tomorrow. Chad and I are going to enjoy some hockey this weekend, and we're hoping the BSU Beavers win.
I have had a stinkin' head cold for over a week. I may have to go to the doctor next week if it doesn't go away.
My first hour class sang Happy Birthday to me on Tuesday. I told them I was 21. I don't think they believed me.
I'm glad parent teacher conferences are done. It is awesome to connect with parents, but man, the hours are long. And, I didn't get home until Little Man was in bed. So, I basically got to see him for 15 minutes in the morning for two days in a row. Stinky, but done.
I saved $7.50 by using coupons at Target today. Not quite Extreme Couponing, but I'm happy with it. And, I've got a $3 off coupon in my purse for the next time I need to buy diapers. Seriously, $3 off rocks, in case you haven't bought diapers in a while.
Little Man likes to use the potty, so maybe we won't need diapers sooner than I think. Okay, not likely to happen any time soon, but let's hope. Today, all he's been interested in is pointing at the Sesame Street characters on his seat, but he learned to say Ernie!
Yes, this was definitely a rambling post. It's kind of how I work. :) Sometimes I explain my trains of thought to Chad, and other times I just let him wonder.
That's all for now.
