Rambling

Yesterday, after Connor's checkup, we stopped back at school to say hello to the class that I missed. It was perfect because we had about 4 minutes left of the day when we got to the room, and the kids could see Connor and then be on their way. Today, one of the kids said "Mrs. Pendill, you should bring your baby to class every day. He's cute." Isn't that sweet? Or is it? I'm thinking they just want me to be distracted from making them do their work. What do you think?

Tonight I went to a going away party. I don't want my friend Sally to leave Willmar, but I am excited for her to enjoy her new life with her fiance. Far, far away. I will miss her.

I also miss my husband right at the moment. He and Ty are at the state high school hockey tournament. Hopefully enjoying some awesome hockey games, and having lots of fun together. I will see them on Sunday, and perhaps I will see my parents and brother tomorrow. I say perhaps because the snow is blowing like crazy right now, and the drifts and icy roads are nuts. I feel a little guilty for keeping my baby-sitter out so late, but I didn't realize how bad it was. I hope that it gets better in the morning.

That's my rambling for tonight. I needed to ramble a bit, because I just don't feel ready to go to bed yet, even though the morning will come quickly, and my little early riser will want his mommy. Gotta love that cute kid. Off to bed.
