A little fun to start off the post, for those not on Facebook, here's Connor's latest trick. He can crawl!
The season of hockey is upon us, so we are watching lots of games. I missed out on the first tournament, but Chad and I went to New Ulm the first weekend in December while Connor and I stayed home. I am looking forward to getting to go to the other away tournament, but it's not until February! There will be games to see both home and away though. Other things to look forward to inbetween now and then...
- Connor's first Christmas! I'm pretty sure we won't have to buy him much as the grandparents and Uncle Phil won't be able to resist.
- Spending time with family. Both my mom's side and dad's side still get together with all of the aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents to celebrate Christmas, see each other and eat lots of yummy food that has had all calories removed. And, Chad's mom is coming for a visit in January again. I know she wants to see us, but I think Connor may be the bigger draw.
- Driving around with Tyler. I'm waiting for my turn to drive with the boy and his permit. He's been taller than me for a couple of months now. I like to look back at our wedding pictures and see how small he was when he was only 11.
Okay, I have to get going. Quizzes didn't get corrected tonight like they should have, but I got some knitting done, (a Christmas scarf is finshed!) and now it's time to head for bed. Here's to hoping that Connor falling asleep a half an hour early tonight doesn't mean he will wake up earlier in the morning!
