Over already!

Okay, so I don't think I could ever handle a daily blog update, but you'd think I could have something interesting to say more than once a month, right? Well, maybe.

As the title says, here are some things that are over already... other than the month of February.

1. The Olympics - I enjoyed them, and they were really cool at the beginning, but I must admit that this past week I found myself not quite as interested. My students did enjoy watching the men's hockey team whoop up on Finland on Friday afternoon though. We got to see all of the action during the last half hour of school. (Don't worry, my class was doing a problem solving exercise involving placing numbers correctly in the Olympic rings so that each ring added up to the same total. We weren't just watching tv for fun during class or anything.)

2. Ty's Willmar hockey season - Unfortunately this was the last weekend. The boys played a great game today, but they lost by 1 point in the 3rd overtime! Ty had a great game, and I'm sure he's already looking forward to meeting his new summer team, the Raging Bulls!

3.The first two-thirds of my pregnancy - I can't believe that 6 months has flown by, and the little guy will be here in just 3 short ones! We ordered our furniture this weekend, and I can't wait for it to come and get everything settled. I'm a planner if you didn't know, and it's driving me nuts to not be ready yet. Deep breaths and relax, I know! :)

4. Winter? - Let's hope folks. Chad is ready to ditch MN for a much warmer climate, if even for a short time. I've enjoyed the warmer wather this weekend and can't wait for more. And as much as Crosby likes being king of the giant snow piles, I think he'll like resting in the green grass this summer even better.

Okay, I can't think of any more at the moment, except for the fact that my weekend will be over shortly as well, so I had better go and enjoy the rest of it.
