Christmas cards!

I love opening the mailbox this time of year. There's the hope that we will get a cool picture, or a nice card from friends or family. I got ours taken care of last night, so they should hit the post office soon. I forgot to put the caption on the bottom, so I got to sign our names on all of them, but that's okay! It was worth it.

Not too much has been going on around here, but a few things. Ty had a little shoulder injury, and some missed playing time for hockey. He hit the boards a little hard about a week and a half ago, and he looked pretty tough walking around school in a sling for a few days. I think he just wanted the attention from the girls! Seriously, he is feeling much better, but I'm not sure if he's 100% yet.

He had better get that shoulder taken care of because I hear that he's gunning for his friends to get me pied in the face. Last year at school we had a contest, and I got to be a "winner." The teachers each had jars in the cafeteria during lunch, and the teachers with the most money in their jar got to get a pie in the face at the school assembly. The whipped cream really makes your face feel smooth! :)

We have a kind of challenge going at our house. It's been a bit of a competition to see who is going to get the most benefit out of our new treadmill. It's so nice not to have to go to the Y or something. I am getting a little reading done while walking, and we also have it strategically placed to watch TV. Crosby can't figure out if we are playing with him or not when we are walking, but he has dropped a toy on it a couple of times and watched it go to the back end. Maybe I could get him on it to walk himself?

Well, I should either hit that treadmill or correct quizzes. Chad was out of town last night, and I want to have my stuff done so we can hang out. Until next time, "Stay classy, San Diego." (Sorry, Anchorman was on TV this past Sunday.)

Some people pay big bucks for cream facials. ;)

I look forward to getting your card. We need to get busy too.
