Tuesday is golf night

Yesterday was Chad's golf night. After getting home from work, he changed into some snappy golf clothes and disappeared until after dark. Here is a picture of the one hole that you can see from our house. There's a neighbor's yard and a road inbetween, but if you squint, you can see Chad in his yellow shirt. Since he was busy with work, and golf, I got busy with the flowers. I went into town to buy some plants to fill in the holes in our landscaping. Here are some flowers waiting to be put into their new homes. (yellow coreopsis and purple coneflowers)

Lastly, I couldn't pass up this beautiful hibiscus plant. I love the braided trunk, and the fact that it was half price! Thank goodness for late summer plant sales.

So when you say waiting to be put into their new homes...who are they waiting for? Are you the green thumb planter or is Chad?:)
I am with you...I love good deals!! Looks like you made some good choices.

I am the green thumb, not Chad! :) I was waiting for it to cool off a little bit. It's been Texas hot here in MN this week!
